(KWMN)- It’s been a tumultuous week for Winona State Football.
After three seasons, Brian Bergstrom announced that he will be leaving the program to take a job at South Dakota State University. Brian Curtin, who’s been with the program since the 1990s, was named the interim. Just days later, he was named the fulltime head coach.
Curtin most recently served as the special team’s coordinator and wide receiver’s coach. He’s also held positions at defensive coordinator, defensive backs coach, and others throughout his time on the staff.
New Head Coach, Brian Curtin, joined the Winona Sports Network to discuss the hiring, and what’s next for the football program.
