Child pornography charges against Lewiston man

(KWNO)-A Lewiston man is being charged with child pornography. 29-year-old Valentin Silva Quintana was arrested last week by Winona County Deputies for possessing sexual images of minors. Investigator Mark Dungy says Quintana had several accounts on computers and mobile devices that sexually exploited the victims. The investigation, which is being conducted in conjunction with the BCA, has identified four victims but Dungy says it’s possible more kids were targeted. Quintana allegedly communicated with the victims online and asked them to send pictures. Quintana would then threaten to expose them if they didn’t keep sending him new images. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and it’s still unclear if Quintana acted alone and where all the images were posted. Quintana was arrested without incident at a job site in Lake City last week and is being held in the Winona County Jail.
