(KWNO)-A woman who rents her land near Hart to hunters alleges a nearby landowner is harassing her tenets and stealing game cameras and deer stands. The adjoining landowner told investigators he was threatened by the woman, but that claim has not been substantiated.
According to a Winona County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, trail cameras have allegedly recorded the man trespassing on the leased hunting land and hunters using the land have reported being harassed. No charges have been filed and the case is open. The WCSO spokesperson said the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is also involved, though he did know the extent of its involvement or the status of any DNR investigations.
