Chiefs Face League Best Austin Greyhounds at Gabrych

The Austin Greyhounds (13-1) come to Gabrych Park for a matchup against the Winona Chiefs (4-8) for Sunday afternoon baseball.

The Chiefs try to pick up some steam, with their last action coming on June 26 against the Stewartville Racine Sharks, losing that contest 5-4 in Stewartville.

The Greyhounds sit atop the Twin Rivers League with an undefeated record. They faced the Chiefs on May 31^st. The Chiefs trailed 4-0 after the first inning and fought back to be within one run in the 5^th The Greyhounds would finish the game with a win at Marcusen Park 7-6.

The Chiefs are fighting for position in the Twin Rivers League, currently sixth with a game back of the Owatonna Aces. They look to start gaining momentum with the 1981 State Championship team reunion and honorary first pitch.
