The Winona Chiefs (2-6) will host to Dodge County Friday night as they look to get back on track against the Diamondbacks (5-3) on Friday night. The last time these teams met was on June 3rd. With Dodge County picking all ten runs in the final three innings to defeat the Chiefs 10-4.
In their last action, the Chiefs lost both contests against the Owatonna Aces on Sunday. The first game was a Twin Rivers League matchup, with an 11-3 loss. Mitch McMurl, in his first action with the Chiefs this season, went 2-2 and a run.
Dodge County is third in league standings, with their most recent game occurring last night with the Pine Island Pioneers. They dropped that contest to the Pioneers 8-3 on Thursday night.
