(KWMN)- The Cotter Ramblers (7-1) prepare to defend home territory against the Caledonia Warriors (5-2).
Cotter sits atop the Three Rivers East standings at a perfect 4-0 in the conference and have not lost since April 11th. During that four-game win streak, the Ramblers have outscored their opponents 27-6, including a 9-4 win over Caledonia earlier in the week on Monday, April 20th.
In that game against the Warriors, Vince Frisch picked up the win in 3.0 IP, allowing just one hit and no runs, with 6 strikeouts. Dane Guzzo started that game on the mound going 5.0 IP with eight hits and 8 strikeouts. KJ Kreidermacher went 2-for-2 with 3 walks, scoring two runs, while Guzzo had two RBI on his only hit of the game.
Caledonia is working out of a 6-4 loss to Chatfield on Tuesday, April 21st. Chatfield scored two runs in the top of the 3rd, fourth, and fifth inning to take the lead, and then held off a Warriors rally in the bottom of the 7th to secure the win.
