(KWNO)-A carnival worker is accused of sexually assaulting a girl at Applefest in La Crescent.
Charges filed in Houston County District Court allege 33-year-old Peter John Guse of Mapleton, Minnesota inappropriately touched a juvenile female while he was running the carousel at Applefest on September 15. The age of the victim is not listed in the criminal complaint. Guse was working for a private contractor and is not an employee of Applefest.
Guse is charged with fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct and disorderly conduct. He was released on bail and is due back in court on October 4.
