ALMA, Wis. (KWNO)-The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department arrested an Alma woman, who was traveling with a three-year-old passenger, on suspicion of OWI (operating while intoxicated) Friday night.

A deputy reportedly clocked 33-year-old Tracy Katrina Danielson traveling north at 92 mph in a 55 mph zone on Hwy. 35 near Belvidere Township. The deputy activated their emergency lights but failed to catch up to Danielson, according to a statement from the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department.

An Alma police officer later stopped Danielson in Alma traveling at 100 mph, authorities say. At the Buffalo County Jail, authorities say Danielson resisted and assaulted officers.

Along with the OWI with a child under 16 years old, Danielson was also arrested on suspicion of Recklessly Endangering Safety. Authorities tacked on charges of Disorderly Conduct, Resisting and Obstructing an Officer, and Battery to Law Enforcement following the incident at the jail.

Danielson was also cited for Speeding and Open Intoxicants.
