(KWMN)- The Cotter Ramblers (5-2) travel through the bluffs to face the St. Charles Saints (1-6) to end the regular season.
Cotter is 1-week removed from a dominating 33-14 victory over Plainview-Elgin-Millville on senior night but had to overcome some second-half struggles. The Ramblers took a 3-score lead into halftime but failed to score on their opening drive in the second, fumbling twice. PEM capitalized on multiple mistakes, scoring on back-to-back drives to draw close, before Cotter eventually put them away. Cotter needs a win tonight to secure at least one home game through the section playoffs, which start next Tuesday, October 27th.
St. Charles will look to end the season on a high note. The Saints went winless in their first 6 games of the season, but picked up their first win last week, 20-16 over the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights. The Knights fell to 0-7 on the season with the loss, but St. Charles has momentum coming into the game tonight against Cotter.
A non-conference matchup, both teams are playing for pride and playoff positioning, in the final game of the 2026 regular season. Pregame live at 6:45PM, listen live on 99.3FM, or via the link below:
