(KWMN)- The Cotter Ramblers combine for over 400 yards of offense to earn their first shutout win of the season.

Cotter needed just a minute to score their first touchdown of the game, after Lake City used the first eleven minutes of the first quarter on their drive, failing to score. The Ramblers took over with 1:08 left on the clock, and with just three plays found themselves in the back of the endzone, a 27-yard screenplay to Lewi Shira. After Forcing a few punts, the Ramblers scored again before half behind over 50 yards of offense from Cade Cummings, including a 19-yard TD for his first of two rushing TDs on the night. With 3 minutes left in the half, Rawson Sulliuvan picked off a short pass and went down at the 10, before Cummings punched it into the endzone to put the Ramblers up three possessions before half.

The offense rolled right along in the second half, scoring on their first possession, 43-yards and 3-minutes in. A 30-yard run from the Ramblers, followed by a 7-yard touchdown run from Macs Nisbit, capped off the first drive and practically sealed the win, but Jack Loos would not be denied his first score of the season, taking it 47-yards to the house in the final minute of the game.

The Rambler defense finished with 3-sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 INT, and earned the shutout over the Lake City Tigers. Cotter is back in action again next week against Pine Island for a sectional championship rematch, at Altra Financial Credit Union stadium.
