Sharon Lee Ann, 77 of Winona, peacefully passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI, surrounded by her children.
Sharon was born August 8, 1948, to Mildred Kropidlowski. Sharon married Larry Kanz on December 31, 1966. Together they had three children: Amy, Heidi and Colin. The family relocated to Virginia Beach, VA where they remained until their children were older. Sharon returned to Winona, MN in 2017.
Sharon was formerly employed as a Travel Agent which open doors for her to travel to many places around the world. Sharon was an avid reader and enjoyed mystery and thriller books the most.
Sharon is survived by her children: Amy (Reggie) Smith, Heidi Blount and Colin (Jodi) Kanz; 12 grandchildren and their spouses, 8 great grandchildren, and her sister Jean Nielson.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother Mildred; stepfather Harold Pearson; 3 brothers and one sister.
In honoring Sharons wishes, a private memorial will be held with her family at a later date.
