Minnesota Farmer Elected to National Corn Growers Board

(MNN)-A southeastern Minnesota farmer will help shape national corn policy. Dana Allen-Tully of Eyota has been elected to the National Corn Growers Association Corn Board during last week’s Corn Congress in Washington, D.C. Allen-Tully, a past president of the Minnesota Corn Growers Association, operates a family dairy and crop farm and has been active in state and national agriculture leadership for several years. Minnesota Corn officials say her election gives the state’s corn farmers a stronger voice on issues including trade, biofuels, research and farm policy.
