Chiefs Look to Get Back on Track Against Wanamingo at Gabrych

After dropping their contest to the Dodge County Diamondbacks 10-4, the Winona Chiefs (2-3) are back at Gabrych Park for a matchup against the Wanamingo Jacks (2-1) for Friday night baseball.

The Chiefs lead 3-0 after five innings, with Pitcher and Chiefs Manager Lee Trocinski pitching a no-hitter through those innings. They allowed at least three runs in the next three to drop their second road contest of the season.

Cole Schossow was the top performer in Kasson, going two-of-five with two runs. He now leads the team in runs (5) and runs-batted-in (6). He trails only behind Carson Jones (.389) in batting average (.375).

Wanamingo defeated Rush Creek 7-1 on May 29th . Moving up to 2-1 in Twin Rivers League play. With their only loss coming in their regular season opener against the Rochester Roadrunners on the road. They travel to Winona seeking their third road win of the season.

The Chiefs are 2-1 at Gabrych this season, with their only loss coming against the Stewartville Racine Sharks on May 17th. Their last home win coming against the Pine Island Pioneers 6-3 on May 29.
