In his second plate appearance, with one hit already in the game, KJ Kreidermacher launched a home run off of the scoreboard in right-center field. They ran into Lake City in the third round and fell 10-0 in five innings. The Eagles cleaned up in the elimination bracket however, winning three consecutive games. They defeated the defending AA champions Pine Island Panthers 6-3, before winning the rematch against Lake City 10-3 to get back to the Section Championship game.
