Nancy Kohner passed away peacefully at on February 20, 2026, at St. Anne’s in Winona, where she had been cared for since 2019.
Nancy was born Nancy Ann Pelowski on May 20, 1948, to John and Vivian Pelowski of Fountain City, the third of four children. She attended Cochrane Fountain City High School graduating with the class of 1966. After high school Nancy began a decades long career at WinCraft where she advanced to the graphic design department creating artwork and copy for the annual catalog. In 1985 she married Keane Kohner and settled in Fountain City.
Nancy spent most of her adult life in Fountain City and Buffalo City. She was passionate about the Green Bay Packers, entertaining friends, and she loved living on the Mississippi River.
She is preceded in death by her husband Keane, her parents, and her beloved brother Richard. She is survived by her daughter Kelly Kohner, her two grandchildren Skyler and Bryn Daubanton, and her older brother John Pelowski and younger sister Paula Harolde.
A graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Winona.
