Jefferson and Washington- Kosciusko elementary schools will also release students early on Wednesday.
WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Jefferson and Washington- Kosciusko elementary schools will release all students at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday due to extreme heat.
The early release includes early childhood programming at W-K. Neither school will have key kid activities Tuesday.
The children will be served lunch then be taken home on their bus routes after dismissal.
Goodview Elementary and early childhood will remain on schedule but students who use district transportation will be picked up at 2:15 p.m. and could arrive home as early as 20 minutes ahead of schedule.
