In a post on Truth Social, Trump referred to Alex Pretti as an “agitator, and perhaps an insurrectionist,” adding that “Pretti’s stock has gone way down” since the video surfaced. Steve Schleicher, a Minneapolis-based attorney representing Pretti’s parents, said the earlier altercation in no way justified the officers’ fatally shooting Pretti last Saturday.
