(MNN)-Republican candidate for governor Lisa Demuth is already taking aim at US Senator Amy Klobuchar. Minnesota’s senior senator filed paperwork for a possible run for Minnesota governor Thursday. Demuth said in a statement, “Klobuchar would be a rubber stamp for a Walz third term. I am ready to prosecute her record, hold her accountable and make sure she can’t double down on Tim Walz’s failures in Minnesota.” Klobuchar is considered one of the most popular politicians in the state and is known for her bipartisan work in the US Senate.
