(KWNO)-A traffic stop Saturday afternoon led to Winona Police officers physically removing a suspect from his vehicle. Robert Lee Maringer Jr. was pulled over near Highway 61 and Orrin Street for having expired tabs. Officers had also observed him leaving a known drug house and suspected he was intoxicated. Despite repeated requests from officers, Maringer Jr. wouldn’t get out of the vehicle; officers broke a car window and extracted him. Cocaine, methamphetamine, brass knuckles, and a handgun were found in the vehicle or on Maringer Jr. He is facing six charges including felony drug possession.
