(KWNO)-A semi-truck rolled over and caught fire Thursday in Canton Township. The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office was called to County Road JJ around 8:45 am Thursday where deputies found the semi fully engulfed in flames. Two witnesses had helped the driver out of the semi.

According to a press release from the BCSO, the driver was hauling manure and lost control around a sharp corner, causing the semi to roll over into the ditch. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Canton Township is about 30 minutes northeast of Alma.
