WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Local military organizations will hold the 92nd Winona Memorial Day Program on Monday.
The event begins at 10:30 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park. The event will begin with a recognition of Winona’s veterans’ organization, the pledge of allegiance, and the National Anthem. There will also be readings of “In Flanders Field”, “Answer to Flanders Field”, and the “Gettysburg Address.”
The VFW’s Jim Lukaszewski will also make a Memorial Day address. The Winona Municipal Band will perform the anthem, “America”, and military anthems.
