(KWNO)-An intoxicated passenger in a car who was told by police not to drive got behind the wheel anyway and was arrested. Around 1:15 am on Friday, police pulled over 40-year-old Jason Williams of Rollingstone. An officer had observed Williams revving his engine and swerving near 2nd Street and Huff Street. A breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol content of .22, nearly three times the legal limit. Officers arrested Williams and told his passenger, 68-year-old William Williams not to drive the vehicle. William also showed signs of intoxication and was provided with transportation options. However, a short time later officers observed William driving away in the vehicle he was previously a passenger in. William refused field sobriety tests but was arrested on suspicion of DWI.
