(KWNO)-A Rushford man who drove a school bus is under arrest for allegedly sexually assaulting a student. Timothy Wilkemeyer, 53, was charged Friday with criminal sexual conduct with a child age 16-17. According to court documents, in August a woman told Winona law enforcement Wilkemeyer had sexually assaulted her several times in 2017. The woman, who has a disability, told investigators Wilkemeyer was her bus driver for more than a decade, and he touched her inappropriately when she was a teenager. Wilkemeyer allegedly told law enforcement that he had sexual contact with the girl but that he thought she was 18. His first court appearance is October 6.
