(KWNO)-The Minnesota State Fair offers a heavy dose of food and fun, but it can also lighten your wallet. Visit Winona is helping people arrive at the Great Minnesota Get Together with a little extra money for a second (or third) order of cheese curds. Now through August 20, reduced-rate pre-fair tickets are available at the Winona Visitor Center. Blue Ribbon Bargain Books and Ride and Game Fun Cards are also for sale.
The Winona Visitors Center is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is a limit of 24 admission tickets per customer, per day. Buying pre-fair tickets at the visitor center offers a savings of up to $3 per ticket.
