(KWNO)-The Friends of the Winona Public Library are hosting New York Times Bestselling Author Michael Perry on Saturday, August 9 at 1PM in the Winona Public Library’s Central Exchange Room. The event is free and open to the public.

Perry is widely known for his volunteer firefighter memoir, Population: 485, which has been adapted for the stage. His other titles include The Jesus Cow, Truck: A Love Story, and more. He tours with his band, The Long Beds, and also performs as a humorist.
