(KWNO)-A man walking home from a Lewiston bar claims someone fired several shots at him. Law enforcement on Sunday responded to a report of an intoxicated person. A man said he was walking home on 100 block of 1st Street South when a person walking ahead of him turned around and fired “three or four shots.” According to the Winona County Sheriff’s Office, the person had been drinkingĀ at the Recreation Bar and Cafe and got into an argument. It’s not clear if the alleged shooter was the same person involved in the argument with the victim. A WCSO spokesperson said they do have the name of a possible suspect, but investigators haven’t verified what kind of gun was fired or even if shots were fired at all.
