(KWNO)-Owen Pruka and Zaydianna Boales are Captain and First Mate for Steamboat Days 2025. They received the honor Friday after the Kiddie Parade at Winona’s Lake Park.
Owen and Zaydianna will ride on the Steamboat Days Float with Miss Winona Steamboat Days Keeli Meyer and court, Button Design Winner Zayah Wobig and Harbor Master Pat Mutter in the Steamboat Days Grande Parade Sunday, June 15.
The Theme for the Kiddie Parade this year was “Unlock New Worlds”. The First-Place winner of the Kiddie Parade Float Contest is Rollingstone Community School with “Power up with RCS,” a Super Mario theme. They were inspired by how Mario starts small – but when he gets a power up, he grows bigger, faster and stronger!
