(KWNO)-A car collided with an e-bike on Monday evening, killing the rider. It happened near the intersection of 6th Street and Liberty Street in Winona around 8:00 p.m. A police spokesperson said the car was traveling west on 6th Street and solar glare may have been a “contributing factor.” The driver was 54-year-old Gregory Ferriss, and the victim was 67-year-old Michael John Ryan of Winona. Ryan was not wearing a helmet. The MN State Patrol is assisting with the investigation.
