(KWNO)-A student at Rushford-Peteson High School is the recipient of a special award. Junior Quinn Potter will travel to Washington D.C. as part of MiEnergy Cooperative’s Youth Tour. Quinn will be one of 1900 students across the country sponsored by the electric cooperatives to take part in the Rural Electric Youth Tour. The students will meet with legislators, get an up-close look at how government operates and see the sites. Potter qualified for the trip by completing an online exam and going through an interview process. The Rural Electric Youth Tour is in June.
