(KWNO)-The Cotter math team added to its strong season by placing fifth at the Minnesota State High School Mathematics League State Meet. Eleven teams from across the state competed, testing their problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning. Cotter Coach Eric Errthum highlighted his team’s depth and consistency this season.
“Our balance this year was incredible. All nine team members scored within one or two points of each other,” said Errthum.
The nine members of the Cotter math team are Peyton Gish, Sonja Semling, Ella Khanh, Erik Semling, Eric Geng, Joseph Row, Kellen Groth, Ray Kim and Shawn Freyre.
