(KWMN)- Throw the regular season records out the window for the Cotter and Rushford-Peterson boys as their section tournaments will begin tonight.

#10 Cotter will hit the road to face a tough side in #7 St. Charles. Tip is slated for 7:00 p.m. while our coverage begins at 6:45 p.m. right here on the Winona Sports Network.

These two teams met earlier in the season, with St. Charles getting the better of Cotter back on Dec. 20th. At that point, the Ramblers still had their leading scorer in Carson Roeder, who remains out for the season.

#3 Rushford-Peterson will have a much more favorable matchup in their opening round game, taking on #14 Mabel-Canton. RP won the regular season matchup with ease, 79-44. Of course, this is tournament basketball, so they can’t sit on their laurels. Still, a matchup RP can be confident in.

Last night, the Winhawk Girls saw their season come to an end, as they fell to #1 Byron, 69-36.
