(KWMN)- The 7-10 Cotter boys are getting set to host the 13-3 Rushford-Peterson boys tonight from the John Nett Rec center as these two teams renew the I-90 rivalry.
Tip slated for 7:15 p.m. with our coverage beginning at 7:00 p.m. on the Winona Sports Network, 99. 3 FM, and streaming live online right here at winonaradio.com and on the Winona Radio App.
Rushford-Peterson has gotten the best of Cotter over the last decade, boasting a 21-1 record over Cotter since they started regularly playing each season in 2013-14. Cotters lone win came in the 2015-16 season, where they split the season series 1-1 that year.
Cotter came close one season ago, losing by just two points the last time these two teams met at the John Nett Rec Center.
RP has state aspirations with their 13-3 start and have one of the best teams the school has seen compared to the last three or four years. Cotter has an outside shot to make the tournament but know they can compete with most of their section.
Still, tonight will be a tough test for Cotter as they look to break a 17-game losing streak to the Trojans.
