Winona State Women’s Basketball Look to Bounce Back After 0-2 Weekend, Head Coach, Ana Wurtz, Joins the WSN

(KWMN)- The Warrior women dropped both contests over the weekend losing the Minot State, 68-61, and the University of Mary, 69-48.

Their record moves to 7-8, as they look ahead to back-to-back home weekends in NSIC play.

The Warriors struggled to shoot the ball over the weekend, with a clip of under 34% from the field in both games. One can hope that they’re just working off the rust from the holiday break.

They’ll have the University of Minnesota-Crookston and Bemidji State University this weekend at McCown.
