
(KWMN)- The Warrior men were able to salvage a home split over the weekend as they toppled the University of Sioux Falls on Friday and were bested by Southwest Minnesota State University on Saturday.
Although not a 2-0 weekend, earning the 1-1 split brought the Warriors to an 8-3 record. It’s their best start to the season since 2013-14, a year that they competed in the NCAA tournament.
The Warriors will have the University of Minnesota-Duluth come Wednesday on the road, then come home on Saturday to face Minnesota State-Mankato. Two teams that sandwich the Warriors in the NSIC standings.
