(KWNO)-Winona Area Public Schools will hold a listening session to provide feedback on the reconfiguration proposal currently in front of the school board.
The reconfiguration proposal will turn Goodview Elementary into a pre-K and kindergarten building. Jefferson Elementary and Washington-Kosciusko Elementary will both house Grades 1-4. There will be no changes to Grades 5-12 at Winona Middle School, Winona Senior High School and the Winona Area Learning Center.
The listening session will be held from 5-6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12 in the Winona Senior High School Learning Commons. The format will include a short introduction followed by moderated discussions in small groups then a share-out to the larger group. School board members will be present at the meeting. A virtual option will be available.
RSVPs are encouraged, but not mandatory. Learn more at winonaschools.org, or visit this link: https://waps.pub/Dec12RSVP
