I remember when I was about ten years old it was a gorgeous summer day and I decided to walk around the block to the Bright family household, they had three girls and I would sometimes go play with the middle child that was near my age and we would just have a blast running around and playing with dolls. This time that I showed up to her house was different. Instead of going outside or down to the dungeon of toys in the basement we went inside to her family office and she showed me the beautiful world Club Penguin.
I was amazed at the game, you get to be a penguin with your own igloo, you can change your body to be any color you want, you get to have little pet puffles to play with, and of course waddle around town and play a plethora of miniature games. It is a glorious universe full of excitement and friendship. You could talk to strangers, play games with them, the people who could afford memberships would throw big extravagant parties in their igloos.
The fun did not end there. I remember that eventually if you continued to play for a certain number of days your penguin would eventually get a cellphone. You then could use this phone to message penguins that weren’t near you, travel around town quicker, or best of all become a part of the Penguin Secret Agency(PSA). This was one of the greatest games ever, it was an ongoing investigation of a secret monster in the city and was one of the most fun times I have ever had playing a video game. So please I beg of you readers that we band together and log back in to Club Penguin servers to create a community of penguin crime fighters once again.
