(KWMN)- After the Twins collapse in the final month of the season, many fans wanted to change, and in more ways than one, they might get it.
The team fired hitting coach Dave Popkins following the year and has since replaced him with a familiar face in the organization. Matt Borgschulte, who was coaching in the Twins Minor League system from 2018-2021, will join the Major League team as the new hitting coach. Borgschulte comes from the Baltimore Orioles, where he had the same position.
On top of that, the Pohlad Family announced its intent to explore the sale of the team. Something most of the fan base has been begging for over the last decade.
Writer for the Athletic, Dan Hayes, who covers the Minnesota Twins, joined Upon Further Review to discuss the Twins changes, and what lies ahead this offseason.
