Authorities were called by a person who said the man was missing.  More than 30 first responders from several agencies arrived on the scene, including the Minnesota State Patrol Air Rescue Team (MART). The man was located around 5:20 p.m. in a remote and hard to access area that first responders described as “treacherous.” The MART team used ropes to rescue the man and within just over an hour he was transported to the hospital. The post states the 56-year-old Eitzen man had serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
