(KWNO)-The closure of Pleasant Valley Road (County Road 17) north of Witoka to Meadowbrook Lane has been changed and will now start “the first part of the week of August 26,” according to the Winona County Highway Department.
Construction to replace drainage culverts was supposed to start on August 22 but the contractor informed the county they need to push the start date because of delays on another project.
The work will close the roadway in both directions, but local traffic will be allowed through to access homes and businesses. Detour routes will not be posted during construction. The project is expected to last approximately four weeks.
