Adam Fravel, the ex-boyfriend and suspect in the murder of Madeline Kingsbury of Winona, will face a jury trial beginning October 7. Kingsbury went missing on March 31, 2023 and her remains were found north of Mabel on June 7. Fravel, the father of their two children, is charged with first- and second-degree murder. His case will be tried in Mankato after his defense requested it be moved out of Winona County due to local opinion and extensive media coverage.
