WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)- A Winona woman is facing felony charges for allegedly threatening an individual with a gun Monday night.
Police say the person reported the encounter Tuesday morning. The victim told officers they parked their vehicle on the dead-end road near the Maplewood Townhomes Monday night when a woman, who police have identified as 35-year-old Casey M. Jonsgaard, approached them and pointed a handgun at them.
Jonsgaard was charged for second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, and threats, according to Winona County court records.
