(KWNO)-If you pride yourself on not needing spell check or autocorrect, then head to Peter’s Biergarten on Sunday for the Ready Set School Spelling Bee. The second-annual event is a fundraiser for Ready Set School and winning teams will receive a variety of great prizes.
Teams will be given a word to spell, write that word on a white board and be checked by judges for accuracy. Each correct answer earns points, and the top three teams will then nominate one person from their team to participate in the final challenge. The entry fee is $20 per team paid the day of the event and teams can consist of 1-4 people of any age. The spelling bee starts at 1:00 p.m.
