(KWNO)-Prairie Island Campground made the “incredibly difficult decision” to close the park for all short-term camping until July 8 due to high water. Most RVs and vehicles have been removed with the exception of a few seasonal campers who are on higher ground. A Facebook post says those people can be at the park quickly to remove their equipment if necessary and “staff who live in their campers seasonally will remain if possible.”
