(KWNO)-The Cotter Speech team finished in fourth place at the State Speech Championships and Savanna Loken was state champion in the Drama category for a second straight year. River Repinski was runner-up in the Humorous category and Jase Vafaei secured third place in the Discussion category. Other participants were Roman Goodwin (Prose), Erica Beckman (Original Oratory) and Kayleigh Taylor (Prose). Six members of the team were also selected for the All-State Speech Team.
