(KWNO)-A former Pine Island teacher and coach will spend more than a decade in prison for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old student. Lindsey Schneeberger was sentenced on Monday in Olmstead County Court after pleading guilty to first-degree sexual criminal conduct. Schneeberger was the victim’s volleyball coach in 2022 and then became the student’s physical education teacher in 2023. According to court documents the assaults occurred Schneeberger’s Rochester home. Schneeberger was sentenced to 12 years but will be eligible for conditional release after 10 years.
