(KWNO)-A homeless woman from Alabama staying with a Winona couple allegedly stole $13,000 worth of electronics and jewelry from their home. A police spokesperson said the 44-year-old woman lived with the couple from December 12, 2023 to January 14, 2024 when they asked her to leave. The homeowners subsequently noticed an Apple watch was missing, along with several items of jewelry and other electronics. They reported the theft to Winona Police on Wednesday.
