WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)- A Winona woman was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on Riverview Dr. Monday afternoon.
Police say 20-year-old Marlena J. Steenerson of Elk River was traveling west near the ADM terminal when she attempted to pass a semi-truck. Officers say Steenerson collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle driven by 53-year-old Doreen M. Volkman.
Authorities say Volkman was hospitalized with the extent of her injuries unknown. Steenerson and the truck driver were not hurt.
The crash closed Riverview Dr. for approximately one hour.
