(KWNO)-A Winona man is in jail after making violent threats. According to a police spokesperson on Monday 39-year-old Matthew Nguyen was an in alley in the 550 block of East Third Street yelling and threatening people. Police brought Nguyen to Winona Health where he was placed on a 72-hour mental health hold. But Nguyen continued to make violent threats causing hospital staff to feel unsafe and police arrested Nguyen on Tuesday afternoon. He is in jail and charged with threats of violence and disorderly conduct.
