MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Learfield)The University of Minnesota football team resumes spring practice this week after having last week off for the school’s spring break.
The spring practice period began late last month for head coach P.J. Fleck and his team. The Golden Gophers were 3-4 last season, but return nearly everyone from that team, including Big Ten Running Back of the Year Mohamed Ibrahim.
The Gophers will culminate their spring drills with the annual spring game set for May 1st at TCF Bank Stadium. School officials are hoping to allow fans to that spring game.
