(KWNO)-Grade level reconfiguration for Winona Area Public Schools will be discussed at Thursday’s school board meeting. According to a statement, school board members will present a proposal for the 2024-2025 school year which includes moving all pre-K and kindergarten classes to Goodview Elementary, all first and second grade classes to W-K and all third and fourth grades classes to Jefferson. The proposal is slated to come before the board as a briefing at its February 29 meeting and an action item on March 21. Community members and families are encouraged to address the board during the public comment portion of those school board meetings.
